Create Data Fields for Testing
With our more advanced packages, you can create your own testing fields. A "field" is the equivalent of a column in a spreadsheet. So, vertical jump would be one field, 40 yard dash time another field. Data fields have multiple different types: number input, text input, choice (i.e. Yes/No), or calculated input, in which the field is calculated from other fields (i.e. distance_km=distance_miles*0.62). More information about fields.
Only available in our Elite package, Algorithm Engine™ allows you to perform complex calculations inside your CoachMePlus installation. If you can build something in Excel, you can build it inside of CoachMePlus. While Excel is great, powerful, and flexible, it does not scale well. It is hard to get your program and measurements from your Excel sheet onto an Athlete's phone. Some of our elite clients build their formulas in the Algorithm Engine™, but many of them build out a profile in Excel and send it to their CoachMePlus support rep to build out. Once you have created your fields and done your calculations, you are now able to display your information with the Visualization Builder. The Visualization Builder allows you to create individual dashboards, group dashboards, and assessments.
Individual dashboards allow you to display information on a single athlete. The system natively supports many different types of dashboards. More Information on Dashboards
Group Dashboards are very similar to individual dashboards, but they contain data for all of the people in a selected group.
Assessments allow you to perform calculations on particular data. More On Assessments.
Once your data has been created, calculated, and visualized, you then need to attach that visualization to a Layout. Layouts are built using the layout tool. More On Building a Layout Once a layout is created, it needs to be assigned to a group of athletes. You could design one Layout for S&C coaches, and one for ATCs. Additionally, the data that appears on the athlete's phone for display is assigned to them with the Layout tool. More On Layout Assignment
