Success Path: Giving Athletes Access to the System
When you are all set up and prepared to start having your athletes log into the CoachMePlus system, follow these simple steps to do so in the most efficient way possible. There are a few different methods to do this depending on what works best for your organization. This can be done as your are creating your Athlete, or afterwards using the Account tab.
Would you like to Send Out Welcome Emails in bulk to all of your Athletes?
Here is a quick video explaining the three options available below:
Method 1: Manually Set Password
When you're creating your Athletes, you can manually set their username and password. You can then give them that information and they will be able to access the system moving forward. Your Athletes can then continue to login using that information. If you want to set this after creating your Athletes, go to Settings->Security->Users.
Method 2: Force Password Change
This method allows you to set up your Athletes with initial log in credentials and will make your Athlete set their password upon first log in. You can manually set their username and password when creating the Athlete or go to Settings->Security->Users if you already have created their profile. In the process, select the check box for Force Password Change. Then, distribute the log in credentials to your Athletes so they can log into the system.
Method 3: Send Welcome Email
Sending a Welcome Email is the easiest way to distribute log in credentials to Athletes that have valid email addresses. You can select the Send Welcome Email check box when creating your Athlete or through editing them in Settings->Security->Users. You can also use the multi-select in the Users menu to select the action from the drop down to send a Welcome Email. This option does not require you to manually give any of your Athletes log in credentials. Note: Please ensure that your users have valid email addresses or else this method will not work.
