In-App Support
When modifying a program within the Builder, CoachMePlus gives you the option to choose between a Global Edit or an Individual Customization. Understanding this distinction is crucial to maintaining your program library while still providing personalized coaching.
Edit for Everyone vs. Customize
When you click to edit a day or a circuit within a library-based program, you will be prompted to choose how those changes are applied.
Option 1: Edit for Everyone (Global Change)
Selecting Edit for Everyone updates the "Master Template" in your library.
How it works: Any change you make (adding sets, swapping exercises, etc.) will automatically reflect across all athletes currently assigned that program.
When to use it: * You found a typo or error in the original program.
You want to update a specific circuit for the entire team or group at once.
You are refining your long-term library template for future use.
Option 2: Customize (Athlete-Specific Change)
Selecting Customize "breaks" the link to the library template for that specific athlete.
How it works: The changes you make will only be visible to the athlete you are currently editing. The master library template remains exactly as it was.
When to use it: * An athlete is injured and needs a specific exercise swapped out.
You want to increase the volume or intensity for one high-performer without affecting the rest of the group.
You need to adjust a workout based on the specific equipment available to one individual.
