How To: Find a BAM ID and Put it into CoachMePlus
The MLB BAM ID is the ID number that you see in the URL of a player's page on MLB.com or the team's page that the player plays for. Putting this in CoachMePlus will automatically adjust athletes' profiles on your roster if there are changes made by the MLB website to a picture.- Go to MLB.com/MiLB.com or your respective team's MLB/MiLB website.
- Locate and select the player you would like to find the BAM ID for by using the search bar in the upper right of the page.
-
In the URL bar, you will see a six-digit number in the URL. For example, it may read: "http://m.exampleteam.mlb.com/player/123456/example-athlete", "http://m.mlb.com/player/123456/example-athlete", "http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?sid=milb&player_id=123456#/career/R/pitching/2015/ALL"
- Copy that number.
- In CoachMePlus, go to Athlete Central, find the player who's BAM ID you just copied, and select them.
- Select the Account tab.
- Select the MLB Profile option from menu options on the left.
- Paste the number in the box for "MLB.com "BAM" ID".
- Save. Your athlete's photo will now appear in the CoachMePlus system.
