Why use a Bookmark?
Bookmarks in CoachMePlus are a powerful tool for managing access and ensuring security when using Team Access Points. By creating a bookmark, you can set up a designated area within the platform that users are "locked into," allowing the tablet or device to remain unattended without requiring repeated logins. This ensures that athletes or other users accessing the device are limited to the specific features or screens you've defined. Bookmarks prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data, such as coach or admin profiles, while maintaining a seamless and secure experience for users. This functionality is particularly useful in shared environments where controlled access is essential.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step One: From your side menu, click on Admin Portal
Step Two: Click on your side menu to Settings > Security > Devices
Step Three: On this screen, select the "Bookmark" button on any existing device. If there is no device, you can create a new one. All you need is the link, so this does not have to be specific.n
How to fill out the Bookmark Builder
Training Group - Select the group who will display on your team access point. If you leave this blank, it will default to all users in the system.
Position - This allows you to filter by a specific position and is optional as well.
Show Inactive Athletes? - You can choose to allow inactive users to display if you choose to.
What would you like to see? - This is where you select which Team Access Point or Monitor to display when the bookmark is open. For a list of Team Access Points, click here.
How would you like them sorted? - This allows you to set the sort whether it is by user name alphabetically or if you are choosing to sort by a data point in the monitor or anything else.
Saving the Bookmark
- Copy the URL that was generated
- Open your browser on your device
- Paste the URL into the address bar
